"Even though I am already familiar with OT's, special schools, many different therapies, and have other support systems, I have found true value in watching Dr. Bass's videos. Many times, I would watch the same episode a few times over, and suddenly it sparks something new in me, a situation that I'm having with my child, that created a new insight that I wasn't yet ready to hear until that very moment. I have learned concrete tools to better parent my child, other resources to turn to. But the most important thing I have gained from this incredible course is knowing that I'm not alone. I've learned that it's ok to feel these confused and frustrated feelings, that I'm not a bad mother, and that there's somewhere to turn to."
Jennifer, Mother of 2
"I loved the combination of theoretical and psychological information together with practical down to earth tips. I felt understood for the first time hearing the shared struggles other women have. And I felt hopeful for a calmer future ahead for all my family, hearing the success stories! I came out in a stronger place emotionally to understand myself and my child and the source for the explosive interactions. I began to realise that this is a lifelong process for myself and my child and felt that there are proven tools and techniques for developing a closer relationship with my child. I would recommend this course to all mothers, I think everyone can gain from Ilyssa's wisdom and experience!"
Esther, Mother of 4
"It definitely made an impact on me! ....I loved that paradigm shift you left us with, which allowed me, when faced with my challenging child, to really change perspective from being frustrated and angry, ie. "Why is my kid so difficult?!!", to that question and place of curiosity, "Why IS my child so difficult? What's going on beneath the surface and how can I help him?" Same question but totally different perspective, its like being proactive instead of reactive, trying to grow instead of just being frustrated. I loved it!" Leah, Mother of 3
